Equipment Reservation

All IDIYA members who have taken and passed the Laser Basic Safety and Use classes are able to reserve time on our equipment.

When making reservations, please complete the following steps:

1. Choose between a one hour reservation and a two hour reservation. (You can reserve one or two hours a day on the Laser Cutter).
2. Under the “Select Instructor” drop down, choose the equipment you would like to reserve.
3. Specify when you want to reserve. Reservations are available on Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm 7pm. We close at 9pm. *Note you will first see days/times outside of our normal business hours, but after selecting a day/time you will see only available times.
4. You may reserve online or call us at 504-252-9327 to reserve equipment.

You are required to have an active membership plus have completed required basic safety and use classes before you can request a reservation.

Cancellations

Please let us know if can’t make your reservation. We are community of people here and we want to be considerate of our other members. Please call us at 504-252-9327 to cancel your reservation so we can free up the equipment for other members.

Late arrivals

Your reservation will be forfeited if you arrive more than 15 minutes past your schedules reservation time. Please be considerate and let us know if you can not make it for your reservation.

No Shows

We have a three strike policy for no shows/no calls. Your ability to reserve equipment will be suspended for 1 month if you do not show/call for your reservation three times. This means you will not be able to reserve equipment during your suspension for 30 days.
