JUNE 6-10
Create your own Wearable Tech
“Wearables,” the incorporation of technology or computers into clothing and accessories, is the latest fashion frontier. In this 5 day camp, campers will learn how to solder neon electro-luminescent wire and add it to clothing, sew blinky LEDs onto bracelets and armbands, or program smartbands that track body motion and respond by generating light and sound. With a myriad of components and sensors, the possibilities for technology-infused apparel are endless!
JUNE 13-17
Build a Musical Instrument
In this 5 day camp, students will build electronic xylophones, touch-sensitive music sequencers, LED back-lit pianos, or other sound-generating electronic instruments. This session relies on Arduinos, easy-to-program mini computers designed to make interactive electronics projects accessible to all audiences. The versatility of the Arduinos opens the door to creativity and innovation as we find new ways to make electronic sound. Click here to read more about this Summer Camp.
JUNE 20-24
Maker Boot Camp
This 5 day boot camp introduces students to all things maker! Each day students will design and model their own creation and bring it to life using one of the many machines in the makerspace: 3D printers, CNCs, laser cutters, soldering irons, and more!
JULY 11-15
Bling out your Bike
Want to add lights, electronics, sensors, and sounds to your bike? Turning indicators, brake lights, speedometers, or colorful LEDs are just a few of the possibilities in this bike-centered maker camp! Bring your ideas and imagination, and you’ll leave on the coolest bike in town!
JULY 25-29
Build your own robot
Students will program a robot powered by the Arduino microcontroller, learning basic coding skills along with logical and procedural thinking. Student written code will control two servo motors to make a robot drive through an obstacle course. Extension activities for more advanced students are available which involve incorporating on-board sensors for the robot to make more intelligent decisions in the obstacle course.

You will receive a receipt and confirmation of your reservation via email.
